Charitable giving

Hey everybody, Welcome back! I wanted to take a second to talk to you about some things. When I first thought of creating this business (I got the idea way back in 2009) I always promised myself that I would include some sort of charity component. I’ve always felt blessed to be able to do what I can do. Technology has allowed me to create this business and employ others. To make a long story short I owe. I owe big and I would love it if we could help people. Not just once but on a regular basis. In 2020 the world has become a much crueler place and people are falling through the cracks. I’d like to help make things a little easier. 

So, here’s my idea. I’ve compiled a list of charities. My thought is that each month I would randomly pick one and we’d donate 5%-10% of the sales for that month to that charity. Sound good? It does to me. It might not be much at first but as the business grows it could potentially be quite a bit. Here’s my list so far:

We’d be interested in hearing your suggestions as well. The more the merrier! To suggest a charity just sign up to our mailing list or become a member here. Both are free so come join us! Ideally, We’d like to begin as soon as possible but as you know we’ve just launched the business and are still fighting to gain traction in the marketplace. So, in the meantime, we’d like to collect suggestions and research them thoroughly. We’re going to stay away from political packs, however, religious organizations are ok as long as they are truly acting as charities. All suggestions will be vetted. 

In closing, We want to do more than just turn a quick profit here. There’s enough of that going on in the world already. Sure business is fun but so is making someone’s life better, even if it’s just in a in a small way. Hopefully, we’ll grow to the point that someday maybe we could sponsor a small village somewhere in the world. That would be cool. It’d be even cooler to visit! Anyway, you get the idea. Like the title of the article says, let’s make a difference. Anyway, I’ll keep you posted as I set the program up. In the meantime, keep those suggestions coming people! See you in the next one!
